So this was Coruscant.
Moneo strode slowly down the planet's Grand Promenade, steely blue eyes squinting as if the sorcerer were carefully scrutinizing every inch of the gleaming metal and plasteel curve and structure that he could focus on. Often his gaze would settle on the Jedi Temple which loomed like some bloated idol over the city's landscape, his gaze slimming to tiny slits before sharply detracting his gaze elsewhere. He cared not for the arrogant structure. Besides, staring at Jedi landmarks was not his reason for being here.
Although Moneo's garb was very unlike many of those who also had decided to mingle along the vast swath of promenade on this day, he found that very few chose to stare openly and wonder at his crimson and grey garb. He paid them little mind, though. He was not here to flaunt himself like the meddlesome Jedi. He was here to study, to observe. Though... that could mean he would have to involve himself with the Jedi. Possibly.
But the Jedi were not why Moneo was here, though he would love to attempt to spend a day or two browsing through their archives and compare it to his own. He would see if the Jedi would be so hospitable as to permit that, first. And of course, all that must come after he conducted his own research here. He had not been on the planet long enough to begin his studies of course, but once the sorcerer had managed to get over the culture shock of such a busy, lively, bright, horrid, putrid planet. Oh yes. Even now he could feel the rot and decay beneath the shiny veneer. It was so deceptive. So fake. He would enjoy uncovering the secrets of the Unity here. Such a fascinating place, this Coruscant...
